Pendampingan Pengembangan Usaha Dengan Pemanfaatan Limbah Kulit Jagung Pada Kelompok PKK Desa Bumi Agung

Abstract

Purpose : This community service activity has the following objectives: 1. To create products resulting from the use of corn husks into attractive and appropriate handicrafts for mass production to be marketed directly; 2. The establishment of an online media account as an online marketing tool for handicraft products; 3. Opening opportunities for groups of PKK women to develop businesses in order to increase income.

Methodology: The methods used in this activity are lectures on delivering material on planning and marketing strategies, demonstrations, and the jigsaw method.

Results: This activity was carried out smoothly in the first week of August, attended by 20 members of the PKK in Bumi Agung Village. Participants were very enthusiastic and interested in participating in the activity until it was finished. The output produced is handicrafts in the form of flowers and doll decorations from corn husks.

Conclusion: Through this activity, it is hoped that PKK mothers will get inspiration and implement it to help improve the family's economy.
