Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of work motivation, internal communication, transformational leadership, and work discipline on police personnel' job satisfaction at the Pemalang Police. All of the Pemalang Police's police personnel in 2024 make up the research population. This kind of instrument employs a quantitative questionnaire.


Method: By applying proportionate stratified random sampling, 204 employees made up the sample. Using SPSS statistics 22 software, multiple linear regression analysis tools are used in this study. Result: Based on the findings, transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, internal communication has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction and work discipline has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction.


Limitation: The limitations in this study do not represent all the factors that affect job satisfaction.. The R2 value of 81.0% supports this, and the remaining 19.0% can be explained by other variables that are not the main focus of this study. In addition, since the research sample was limited to Pemalang Police Station, the results of this study might be different if the study involved police in other cities. 


Contributor: In addition to providing information and references as a means of learning and knowledge in the scientific field, the contribution to this research is expected to increase insight and knowledge for researchers. The results of this study are expected to help the leadership of Pemalang Police Station in making policies related to employee satisfaction.
