Peran BUMDesMa Kanor Mandiri Berkah Lkd: Pembangunan untuk Kesejahteraan Masyarakat

Abstract

Community empowerment is an approach that provides opportunities and authority to manage a community development process.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of BUMDesMa Kanor Mandiri Berkah Lkd Kanor District Bojonegoro Regency in improving public welfare.

Methodology/approach: The research using a qualitative descriptive method was carried out in BUMDesMa Kanor, Bojonegoro, East Java. It used data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, and document review.

Results/findings: The results that can be concluded from this study are that people are able to increase family income, develop businesses, meet their daily needs, manage finances and loan funds. Thus the role of BUMDesMa Kanor Mandiri Berkah Lkd is able to improve public welfare by facilitating (providing facilities), education, advocacy (assistance), and protection.
