Abstract

Purpose: The study explores the relation between financial literacy and investment fraud.


Methodology/approach: This study uses the available research publications in the financial literacy and preventing investment fraud literature by the systematic literature review method.


Results/Findings: Based on our analysis, we conclude that with high financial literacy in the prevention group, they will tend to have high intentions to invest and be able to prevent fraud.


Novelty: The novelty of this study is that the focus of the research is on the function of financial literacy in preventing investment fraud


Limitations: The limitations of this study is that this study only uses a meta-analysis approach that tries to see how financial literacy can be used to solve the problems of people who are often caught in investment fraud.


Contributions: This study contributes to provide an insight about financial literacy and investment fraud.
