Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a positive and significant effectiveness between peer tutoring methods to improve economic learning outcomes fpr students in class XI social sciences at MA Subulussalam Sriwangi. The study used quantitative methods. The research population was all students of MA Subulussalam Sriwangi, totaling 417students. The sample is students of class XI IPS totaling 74 students. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and tests. The results of the first study of learning outcomes without using peer tutor learning methods in class XI IPS MA Subulussalam Sriwangi were moderate. It is proven by the acquisition of test scores which show that 37 students have 34 students or 91,98% scored in the medium category with an average of 70,31 and standard deviation: 13,12 the second is the application of peer tutor learning methods at MA Subulussalam Sriwangi is moderate this is evidenced by the acquisition of scores which show that from 37 students there are 35 students or 95,59% getting grades in the medium category with an average of 80,82 and a standard deviation of 15,02 third, there is the effectiveness of peer tutoring learning methods to improve economics learning outcomes of students in class XI IPS at MA Subulussalam Sriwangi with a fighting price of 4,375 while the trebe was 2,042 so that was rejected and was accepted.
