Abstract

This study entitled the effect of the CTL model through LKPD on independent learning and student learning outcomeson social studies subjects for class VIII at SMPT PPNHPP. Researchers want to know whether the CTL model has an effect on learning independence and student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the CTL model through LKPD on independent learning and student learning outcomes. This research method is quantitative with the type of quasi-experimental research (Quasy Experiment). The results of this study (1) the CTL method is in the very good category with a percentage of 5.5% (2) the level of student independence is included in the very good category with a percentage of 93% (3) student learning outcomes are in the high category with an average score of 78 students ,2 (4) there is an effect of the CTL model through LKPD on learning independence and student learning outcomes with the results of the t-test, namely the t-count value of 3.385 and the critical value on the t-table of 2.021. The limitation of this research is the application of the CTL model to students. The contribution of this research is that the author will apply the CTL model in the learning process and introduce it to the teacher at SMPTĀ  PPNH.
