Abstract

This study aims to identify: 1) the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 BMR in the academic year 2021/2012, 2) the influence of learning discipline on student learning outcomes in VII at SMP Negeri 1 BMR in the academic year 2021/2012, 3 ) the effect of learning motivation and learning discipline together on the learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Belitang Madang Raya in the academic year 2021/2012. The population in this study were all students in class VII at SMP Negeri 1 BMR as many as 55 students using saturated sampling. . Questionnaires are used to collect information on variables of learning motivation and learning discipline, while the documentation procedure is used to collect information about student learning outcomes. The information analysis method used is multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and efficient contribution which is first tested for normality test, linearity test, and classical assumption test. The results of this study indicate that the variables of learning motivation and learning discipline contribute to the contribution of influence on student learning outcomes amounting to 21.2%, on the other hand 78.8% are influenced by other variables not examined in this research. So it can be concluded that there is an influence between learning motivation and learning discipline on learning outcomes. the obstacle to the researcher lies in the research. is that researchers are unsure of formulating thesis problems and there are obstacles in the thesis preparation process because researchers do not have a laptop to compose a thesis but thank God this obstacle can be passed by researchers by renting a laptop so that this thesis can be completed properly. From the results of this study, it is hoped that it can develop learning motivation and learning discipline, in order to have good learning motivation and increase learning outcomes so that the level of student knowledge increases more optimally.
