Abstract
Learning outcomes are changes that occur in students as a guide for educators to achieve the goals set and expressed in the form of numbers, letters and symbols. Mathematics is one of the disciplines that can improve the ability to think and argue. The Learning By Games method is a method used by teachers to present material and foster interaction in the learning process with the aim that students are motivated in learning and can increase creativity. The formulation of the research problem is "Is there any effect of the Learning by Games method on the learning outcomes taught before and after using the Learning by Games method". This study aims to determine the effect of the Learning By Games method on mathematics learning outcomes, in the form of Pre-Experimental Design One-Group Pretest-Posttest. The population in this study was the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Toto Margomulyo with a total of 25 students. The sample in this study was taken using the Saturated Sampling Technique. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the results of the hypothesis using the t-test are known from the calculation results that the tcount value of the learning motivation variable is 18.417 with a ttable value of 2,060, because the tcount value is 18.417 > ttable 2,060, the Ha hypothesis is accepted and the Ho hypothesis is rejected. This means that from these results there is an influence of the Learning By Games method on student learning outcomes in class V of SD Negeri Toto Margomulyo.
