Abstract

The purpose of this service was to train parenting skills for mothers of toddlers in improving parenting skills in the digital era. The method in implementing this activity includes coaching parents in the class for mothers under five by providing training in the form of mindful parenting psychoeducation, discussions, simulations, and assignment, monitoring and evaluation. Participants were members of the class for mothers of toddlers, based on the information obtained there was a need for participants who have children aged 1-4 years on how to deal with children with problems such as tantrums, communication, interaction. The training was carried out using lecture models, discussions, and exercises related to mindful parenting materials. Provides modules so that the participants can practice independently. A total of 16 participants attended with their children. The results of the analysis revealed that there were differences in terms of knowledge and skills before and after training. In addition, based on interviews, mothers were easier in the parenting process and practice to be more mindful in the parenting process with the family even though it wasn’t consistent. There is an increase in knowledge about mindful parenting and the ability to do mindful parenting techniques. Overall, participants felt satisfied and benefited from the psychoeducation provided.
